Buying, selling, investing, or thinking about a smaller home? I’ll help you understand your options and take the next step with confidence.

Meet John
I’m John Sapardanis, a real estate broker with RE/MAX Preferred Realty. Born and raised in Windsor, I’ve been helping people buy and sell homes across Windsor–Essex since 1989.
My approach is simple: listen carefully, give honest advice, and help you make a decision you understand and feel confident about. You can count on straight answers and practical guidance, from our first conversation through closing.
As both a real estate professional and a property investor, I bring a practical perspective to residential, multifamily, and investment properties. I look beyond the asking price to the costs, opportunities, and how a property fits your goals.
I’m also focused on helping seniors and their families plan their next chapter. After years in a longtime home, downsizing can feel like a lot to take on. I’ll help you understand your options, set a manageable pace, and plan the sale and the steps around it.
The values behind my work haven’t changed: treat people with respect, be honest, lend a helping hand, and keep a sense of humour along the way.
Let’s talk about what comes next.

Leaving a longtime home is about more than selling a property. It’s deciding what comes next, what to keep, and how to bring all the moving pieces together—at a pace that works for you.
Whether you’re ready to move soon, planning ahead, or simply exploring your options, a conversation can help you see the next step more clearly.
Family members can be part of the conversation, with your permission. You stay in control of the decisions.

A few common questions
That’s fine. Planning early lets you explore your options without a deadline. We can talk about what works in your current home, what is becoming difficult, and what a future move might involve.
Yes, if you want them involved. We can talk together about priorities, timing, and the help you need, while keeping your wishes at the centre of the plan.
Not necessarily. Before spending money, we’ll look at the property, your budget, and the local market. The aim is to identify preparation that makes sense for your situation.
Before any work is arranged, we’ll explain the proposed services, who will provide them, and what costs you would be responsible for. Your plan should make both the support and the budget clear.
Call or email me. Tell me a little about your situation, and we’ll arrange a conversation. For downsizing, you can ask about a free in-home planning visit.
